Welocome to the home of quotes
Hello, and welcome to my blog. I’ve been stalling on creating this for a while now, and the best thing I can think to compare it to, is when you’re nervous to get the number/socials of someone you like. I initially thought ‘hmm, this blog thing would be nice to do uno. I like to write, blogs are a platform for writing… this is making sense.’ But then you start to think about all the ways it could go bad. Like, ‘Am I a good enough writer?’, ‘What will the mandem think if I do this blog?’, ‘Is everyone gonna find out about this blog?’, ‘Ahh, is anyone even gonna rate me if I do this blog?’, ‘Is this blog thing even feeling me?’ And soon, nerves can get the better of you, and you end up with nothing. I have always been a believer in the phrase ‘the beauty is in the attempt,’ so that’s a mantra I’m going to try and adapt into all things I venture into moving forward.
So expect poetry, articles, short essays, book reviews, playlists… the whole shebang. This is going to be one of my creative outlets, so I appreciate your patience while I continue to develop and refine my writing and delivery. Also, if you didn’t find anything you like this time around, give it a month or so, and visit the blog again, as I hope to add new content regularly.
